MEPCO New Connection
Are you looking for a new MEPCO electricity connection? We can show you how to get it. The application form is available at the closest office, or you can apply online.
The process is simple. Visit MEPCO official website then you need to choose the type of electricity connection you want, and go to the Distribution Companies section and choose MEPCO. Fill out all other fields, upload scanned copies of relevant documents, and apply for a new connection.
New Connection Procedure:
To apply for a new meter connection, follow these steps:
Fill the online application form here.
Scan and upload the following documents: (a) Proof of ownership. (b) Undertaking by the applicant. (c) Power of attorney in case of more than one owner. (d) No Objection Certificate (NOC) in case the applicant is a tenant. (e) Attested copy of applicant’s CNIC. (f) Attested copies of CNIC of two witnesses (not required in case of single phase connection) (g) A copy of the concerned tariff duly signed by the consumer.
Fill out the application form.
Print out the application form.
With the application form, attach copies of all necessary documents.
Send all attachments with the application to the corresponding office.
After the documents have been verified, you will receive a demand notice.
To proceed, you must pay the demand notice at the designated bank.
Send a copy of the paid demand notice to the concerned office.
After payment verification of the demand notice, the meter connection will be installed.
Visit the nearest office or call the helpline if you wish to check the status of your application.

Approximately how long does it take to get the new MEPCO meter connected? Depending on the connection category. Generally speaking, there are 3 main types of MEPCO electric supply connections, based on load.
Category – 1 (Up to 15 kW)
Category – 2 (16 to 70 kW / 400 volts)
